Skyline partners with Buffalo Computer Graphics to enhance public safety for “The Big Game”

Baltimore, MD — February 12, 2022 — Skyline Technology Solutions (Skyline) announced today that it has partnered with Buffalo Computer Graphics (BCG) for a pilot program to integrate low-latency, web-compliant streaming video into BCG’s DisasterLAN (DLAN) Incident Management System. This weekend, the pilot program will support the first responder community in Inglewood, California as they host “The Big Game.”

Skyline pulled feeds from the City’s proprietary CCTV and traffic camera systems and scaled them for mass distribution through DLAN via their streaming video appliances and technologies. DLAN’s Streaming Video dashboards combined with Skyline’s integrations will allow cameras from multiple sources and vendors to be easily and securely viewed on customizable dashboards. The integration of live streaming video will add mission critical information from proprietary networks to the first responder community. This solution is easily scalable and vendor agnostic.

DLAN will provide a unified Common Operational Picture for the hundreds of responders who will participate in keeping everyone safe this weekend. In addition to Streaming Video, DLAN will be used for GIS mapping, task management, mobile response, and coordinating.

Skyline’s Claris video sharing and interoperability solution is the most reliable, secure, and widely used real-time video sharing ecosystem in the world. Claris improves interoperability by enabling video stream sharing among unlimited partners and across multiple networks, increasing real-time situational awareness and safety. Utilizing web application portals, Claris provides access to those who need it, when they need it, enabling more efficient operations across many video sources.

“Skyline is excited about our partnership with Buffalo Computer Graphics to bring Streaming video into their incident management solution. Together, our solutions will improve public safety, enhance situational awareness, and aid in decision making for Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) and first responders.” Said Mark Peck, Director of Product and Software at Skyline Technology Solutions.
