Core Responsibilities:

• Client Consulting and Subject Matter Expect (SME) Technical Support
  • Support client environments including SME activities, site surveys, requirements gathering, architectural documentation, automation, operational efficiency activities
  • Attend customer meetings and manage customer expectations around technical deliverables
  • Perform site surveys
  • Ensure sustained environment uptime and reliability targets are met
  • Engage engineering resources to complete network feature and management enhancements
  • Lead and Develop Tier 2 resources to ensure adequate backfill
  • Cultivate efforts to obtain additional task orders and contracts
  • Solution Design, Peer Reviews, Technical coaching
  • Create configuration standards and enforce standards

• Partner with architect and SDM to manage and assign tasks % of time
  • Partner with Service Owner to:
    • Define/refine service offering service catalog.
    • Meet specific client request (ITS, OTS, etc.)
    • Drive service to market
    • Research innovations in service offering space. (Create new additions to service catalog)
• Staff Mentoring
  • Schedule regular time with staff for training, knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring

Education and Experience Requirements

• BS Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 8-year overall experience
• Background with both network and UC environments (Cisco, Juniper, etc)
• CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications, CCA/ CCDE preferred
• Experience with Routing & Switching, Design, Industrial Network, Network Security, Service Provider Operations, Storage Networking, Voice, Datacenter
• 5 + years working in enterprise level network
