Core Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain insight into enterprise messaging platform
- Identify and document business and technical requirements for the capture of application and infrastructure telemetry for the purpose of monitoring system availability and performance.
- Through the use of tools like LogicMonitor and Splunk implement valuable performance measurements and create easily consumable visualizations.
- Define failure modes across a multi-cloud platform and develop alerts to intercept these failures.
Develop and maintain platform automation
- Take charge of the automation efforts inside the platform to support business processes, availability, and monitoring changes.
- Work with a team of leading architects to create sustainable automation across Google Cloud, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure. Automation would include actions in ServiceNow, G Suite, Microsoft 365, and Docker
Education and Experience Requirements
- BS degree in information systems or equivalent with 3 to 5 years experience maintaining platforms.
- Experience integrating and operating an enterprise monitoring solution such as Logic Monitor, Solar Winds, SignalFx, New Relic, Sumo Logic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.
- Expertise in an infrastructure scripting language such as Powershell, Python, etc.
- Comfort with engineering new solutions to issues
