Core Responsibilities:.
Program Architecture
- Meet with clients to understand their objectives and goals and challenges.
- Work with the Delivery Architect and BD to support transition of opportunities into delivery.
- Responsible for projects technical feasibility and end to end design, working across technical disciplines.
- Preparation of design documents for Program technical initiatives.
- Work with the delivery teams, engineers, and delivery managers, for ongoing technical support and delivery.
- Work with the Delivery Architect to Support RFPs, presentations, and pricing exercises for new opportunities.
- Understand and mitigate implementation risks by supporting delivery teams and customer stakeholder management.
- Prepare and present to Architecture Review Boards (ARB) for client buy-in for design decisions.
- Drive new revenue opportunities through effective communication and delivery excellence
Engineering and Operations Implementation
- Support and lead teams of engineers, project managers, and delivery managers to promote customer success
- Coach and mentor delivery engineers on architecture and implementation best practices
- Partner with Delivery and Program managers for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Drive Operational improvements through continual technical and process improvements Multiple Technical certifications across domains (i.e., AWS Certified Solution Architect, CISSP, CCIE, CCDA)
Technical Skills Requirements
- Expertise in OT/IoT network designs
- Strong understanding of Fiber Optic cabling infrastructure and network-based solutions
- Service provider networking and DWDM
- Leading and providing technical direction to engineering teams
- Proficient in the following Network skills and protocols
- Large scale BGP design and implementation (including mBGP)
- OSPF
- ISIS
- IPSEC/DMVPN/SD-WAN overlay networking solutions
- 802.1D, 802.1w/s and RPVST based datalink layer designs
- G.8032 and like propriety ring-based protocols
- Large scale IPv4 multicast network designs
- PIM-SM as well as NG-MVPN based designs
- Large scale MPLS service provider network designs
- Optical network designs and concepts
- 10G and Coherent DWDM solutions using ROADM technologies
- OTN solutions
- Network automation
- Netconf/Restconf
- Orchestration
- Ansible frameworks
- Python scripting services
Education and Experience Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Experience with ITIL frameworks
- Documented experience supporting ITS (Intelligent Transportation Services) Field Operations infrastructure preferred
- Expert Level certification in Networking Services field required.
- Technical certifications across domains (i.e. AWS Certified Solution Architect, CISSP, CCIE, CCDA) preferred.
