Core Responsibilities:

  • General requirements
    • Ensure workplace safety
    • Operate a bucket truck
    • Work with basic and powered hand tools
    • Ensure optimized min / max levels of material on truck
    • Remove and rearrange equipment at on-site locations
    • Provides appropriate customer service when needed
    • Drive and maintain vehicles and accompanying tools
    • Knowledge of Firestop Applications
    • Read Blueprints/Drawings
    • Vehicle DOT Inspection Reports
    • Provide Daily Feedback
    • Code compliance
  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Complete PM’s on client equipment
      • Follow SOP for PM to include completing approved PM checklist
      • Ensure PM schedule is up to date and is communicated to the Service Team
      • Replace any damaged cameras with stock equipment if needed
      • Ensure camera is functioning properly
      • Clean the camera and replace dome if needed.
      • Update service ticket
  • Service
    • Properly update assigned service tickets
    • Test, troubleshoot, and repair impacted equipment
    • Ensure tickets are updated daily
    • Request additional information from the customer as needed
    • Ensure contract SLA’s are met for all service tickets
    • Attend weekly status meetings as needed
  • Project work
    • Complete installations to include cabling, conduit, cameras, etc.
    • Ensure project quality is meeting both Skyline and clients’ standards
    • Ensure SOP’s are followed to complete project work
    • Provide proper documentation (as-builds, cable test results, etc.) for completed projects
    • Complete cable terminations and test the cable to ensure quality meets both Skyline and clients’ standards

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Experience in Low Voltage industry 2+ years
  • Experience in CCTV systems 2+ years
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Maintain Maryland Driver’s License
  • MSP Security License (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain necessary background checks and badges for the program
